Ever wanted to snag one of the sims you see in my legacy or other sims ramblings? For the most part, my sims live at LL30 Sims, but I will be posting legacy offspring, etc, here. I'm hoping to avoid duplication, so if you don't see the sim you want here, check my profile at LL30 Sims or make a request.

LL30 Asylum dwellers will NOT be offered for download, except the children. You will soon be able to find them in Toddlerpalooza on LL30 Sims. Well, I did make Clarissa and she's available at my profile over there.

These will wear your default skintones, but come (sometimes) packaged with outfits, hair, makeup and eyes. Each rar contains a Sims2Pack containing sim and CC plus any pictures you see in this post to make it easy for you to identify them and their CC.

Like brilliantcat , I'm in the Sims2Supernova Legacy Challenge 2. But unlike BC I didn't post any updates here because I wanted to make sure that I would keep going with it and not bother people with a legacy that fails to continue. It's a short legacy, of only 5 generations. And generation 3 was born in the last update.

The newest update went up today so if anyone who was reading it wants to see how the saga continues, the latest one is here (I'm looking at you, beatdoc16 !).

There is just one more week to go in the organised challenge and after that I will probably take September to give Sims 3 a proper go rather than just dabbling a bit in CAS. I will also continue the Andersons to generation 5 and then I'm hoping to get back to the Darcies. Unfortunately the two hoods have the same hood number so I can't alternate between them. Because I would forget to swap hoods between updates. And I don't think I can re-number the Darcies' hood because Pescado says that hood cloning is a VBT so even having a renumbered hood would make things all explodey because the NPCs would have the same GUIDs or something so the hoods would cross-talk during play. Plus I'm also doing generation 3 (aka "yellow") of the rainbow legacy rapple put together and I just recoloured 2 free Peggy hairs with Chokelate textures. So there is plenty of action coming up. I just need to get posting!

Well now you can!

I know I've been saying my HDD crashed and got wiped and my sims were recovered using a HDD recovery programme. So let me stop you worrying.

These sims were extracted from the recovered hood. Then they were cloned using Bodyshop. I put the clones into my game and then extracted them again, then cloned them using Bodyshop again. So these sims are actually from a clean game and are clones of clones of clones so they have been thoroughly "washed" and will not be carrying corrupt code.

I have restored my pre-broken Tranquility Valley and I just replayed the Darcies all the way through their vacation again. I am now ready to get back on the horse and play the family through the rest of the teen years of generation 2.

I was going to update the Darcy legacy tomorrow, just about all the kids were ready to go to uni, everything was set and I had most of the pictures ready.. But right now, I'm afraid that the family may be corrupted beyond salvaging...

It appears that my copy of ACR is severely corrupted and has caused character corruption as well. They kept throwing errors related to calculating attraction scores. I attempted numerous times to uninstall ACR from the neighbourhood but it kept reinstalling itself autonomously. I could not get rid of the damn thing. I thought the problem might be with the lot itself and played them through to Monday morning, ready to move them out. When I attempted to put some of their belongings in their inventories, all their inventories were greyed out, so I could not take anything. Not the career rewards, not the founder portrait, nothing. All of that can be remade, though, or obtained back through cheats if I set them up on a lot.

I am going to move them out and into a different lot in order to see if their inventories become accessible again and if they continue to throw errors. I will then attempt to uninstall ACR again. If it does not uninstall again, I'm afraid I'm going to have to uninstall and reinstall the whole game, EPs, SPs and all, then make a new neighbourhood and start again with clones. Or I might just have to start over. I will need to reinstall as I have found in the past that ACR somehow knows that it was previously installed into a hood even if a neighbourhood with the same number is created from scratch so I cannot take the chance that there is some left over code somewhere in the game files. I will also get rid of all my downloads and start fresh.

I'll let you know later tonight (it's 5pm for me right now) as I can't even contemplate trying to cope with moving them, trying to fix the errors and maybe having to clone them and reinstall the game while my real life kids are screaming for my attention. TheDarcies are a pretty cool family. I hope they survive.
